Wisdom 101

James 1:5 says “If anyone lacks wisdom let him ask and it will be given to him”. Sounds quite simple, and sometimes it may be, but many times it feels like we are walking in a dense forest without a guide. We know the right path is somewhere, but we just end up going in circles. No one can deny that we live in very troubling times. War, disease, illegal drugs, financial pressure, family strife, and much more seem to be all around us. The world around us can look “wacky”, many things have turned upside down making it difficult to navigate and make the right decisions. Believers in Christ are crying out for direction, for wisdom, in an often confusing and crazy world.

Part of the struggle in attaining wisdom is knowing what it is, where it comes from, how to attain it, and how to apply that wisdom in our daily lives. Dr. Mac Brunson is one of the most trusted and respected speakers in the country. He is an author, professor, pastor, and dedicated family man. His insight and giftings have inspired thousands in their walk with Christ. We, at Grace Ministries, are blessed to partner with Dr. Mac in this one-of-a-kind resource. Wisdom 101 – Walking with Jesus in a Wacky World will take us on a journey into the often challenging world of seeking, acquiring and applying Godly wisdom.

It is written in John 2:52 that Jesus “grew in wisdom and stature with God and man”. We too, can grow in wisdom as we walk with Jesus in the wacky world.

Wisdom 101 has six sessions, each about 25 minutes. Each session will have two parts. Discussion topics in the middle and at the end.
